Elizabeth is a budding data scientist and young professional, with an analytically oriented background that began in market research and consumer packaged goods and has since moved into ed tech, focused on higher education. She has led cross-functional teams in quality improvement and process design projects, developed predictive models to understand promotion effectiveness, and worked with some of the nation's largest retail and consumer packaged goods companies. Elizabeth has a keen design eye to produce high quality, aesthetically pleasing data visualizations and presentations, striving to allow the data to speak for itself (sometimes with a little nudging in the right direction).
Elizabeth graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. from the College of Engineering and completed her Master's of Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley as part of the inaugural graduating class of this program.
She currently resides in Washington, D.C., but misses the tall buildings and midwestern mentality of her hometown of Chicago, IL.

After being a student in the UC Berkeley MIDS program, a 2U powered program, Elizabeth couldn't turn down the opportunity to rekindle her interest in higher education and combined with her professional skills in operations and analytics to join 2U. In fact, her last day of being a student in a 2U program was her first day of being an employee! Elizabeth started at 2U as a Senior Analyst in Customer Insights and Strategy, supporting multiple programs, helping analyze and improve the educational outcomes and retention of 2U’s students and the operational efficiency of the Post-Enrollment Services (PES) team. She was later promoted to a Manager on the team, and is currently a Business Intelligence Architect on the Data Science team where she is able to take her operational knowledge of the business gained while on the Insights and Strategy team, combined with the technical skills of the MIDS degree to build data driven tools for PES and the teams that support the department.

During her short tenure at Muller Quaker Dairy, Elizabeth added value to the organization by providing data driven insights to support marketing and sales strategy. She focused on developing predictive models to measure promotion effectiveness and creating consumer, market and competitive analysis.
Muller Quaker Dairy was formed in July 2012 as a joint venture of The Theo Müller Group and PepsiCo to provide great-tasting Müller yogurt to consumers in the U.S.. The J.V. dissolved in December 2015, but the experience of being part of a small, dynamic and resilient team within the giant PepsiCo organization provided great personal and professional growth.

Elizabeth started her career at Nielsen in the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) in Operations, a 2 year leadership development program that included four 6-month rotations in the Chicago area and Northwest Arkansas. Her projects focused primarily on process improvement and driving productivity and efficiency working with global, cross functional teams. Upon completion of the ELP, Elizabeth worked as an internal consultant, liaising between clients and operations teams on long term, large scale software and database deliverables.
